Product Availability and Pricing
If you're interested in a piece of jewelry that is currently on back order, call us and we can tell you when the item will be back in stock. Sometimes with the volume of orders we receive, an item can go out of stock before we're able to post notification to the site. If this happens, we will notify you personally so we can help you find another item.

Infrequently, data may be inaccurately displayed on our site due to system errors. While we make every attempt to avoid these errors, they may occur. We reserve the right to correct any and all errors when they do occur and we do not honor inaccurate or erroneous prices. Our prices are also subject to change without notice. Special Orders
We want to help you find the perfect jewelry item. If you do not find it in our extensive inventory, send us an email using the contact us option, or call and speak to a diamond and jewelry consultant at 443-512-0918.

Fancy Colored Diamonds
At this time, we do not carry loose fancy-colored diamonds.

Ring Size
If your ring does not fit, we will resize it free of charge within 45 days of its original shipment. Resizing will take approximately 10-14 business days.

Custom Jewelry
At this time, we do not alter our jewelry. If you'd like to create a custom piece of jewelry, you can send us and email or contact us by phone.

Payment Methods
For your convenience, we offer the following payment methods:
   • Credit cards: Use your Visa or MasterCard.
   • PayPal
   • Check or Money Order (your items will not be shipped until your payment is received and processed)
   • Gift Certificate (read the Gift Certificate Terms and Conditions)

Policy on Debit Cards
A debit card is treated differently than a credit card by your bank. A debit card is much like a credit card in that it may display a credit card company logo, like Visa or MasterCard, but a charge to your debit card uses funds directly from your bank account. The biggest difference is that your bank may institute a daily charge limit on your debit card. If the price of your order exceeds a daily limit set on your debit card we will notify you, as this will prohibit us from processing your order.

As an alternative, you can:
• Continue your order via wire transfer and receive a 1.5% discount. A wire transfer is a simple process of contacting your bank to have funds moved from your bank to ours and is available for orders of $250 or more. It works on the same principle as your debit card, but requires some direct communication with your bank to allow for a larger transaction. We'll send you the easy instructions. It may require a few days for your bank to transfer your funds.

• Continue your order using a credit card. If you order before noon, your order will begin processing today.

• Contact your bank and request a one-time waiver of the daily charge limit.

Diamond Certificates
When you order a loose diamond, we ship it to you with the accompanying diamond grading report (also called a diamond certificate). These grading reports are lengthy, detailed documents created by diamond grading experts at one of two highly-respected diamond laboratories making it very expensive to replace a diamond grading report. Because of this, we require each diamond grading report to be included with each returned diamond.

If you do not include both the diamond grading report and appraisal with your return, you will be charged a replacement fee.

Laser Inscriptions
Many of our diamonds are laser inscribed. If you find a diamond you'd like to purchase but it does not have a laser inscription, we recommend that you purchase the diamond and send it to a diamond grading lab where they can inscribe the diamond for you.

Sales Tax
Currently, sales tax is only collected on orders shipped to addresses in Maryland State.

Easy Returns
To help ensure you make the right choice, we offer a very flexible return policy. If for any reason you are not satisfied, you can return any item without custom engraving in its original condition within 30 days of the date of shipment for a refund or an exchange. Comparison Purchasing
To keep our prices low, we do not allow comparison purchasing. Comparison purchasing is the act of buying several items with the intent of keeping the one you like best and returning the remainder. This causes undue restocking and inventory overhead and can be very costly. At, we make every attempt to ensure that our online catalog is as accurate and complete as possible. In order to give you the opportunity to view our products in great detail, some products may appear larger or smaller than their actual size in our photographs; and since every computer monitor is set differently, color and size may vary slightly.

Our objective is to provide you with as much information and detail about your prospective purchase as possible so that you can see the beauty and shape of a particular item. In compliance with industry standards and FTC regulations, states that carat total weight in all purchases may vary 0.05 carats from stated weight.

On the website, we display the dimensions of our products based on the information received from our manufacturers. For any convex or rounded jewelry item, the width and length stated in the product description is taken by the manufacturer, prior to the rounding of the metal in the manufacturing process, which may lead to a discrepancy in any measurements taken after this process.

Also, for each item containing multiple diamonds, we list the average grade and measurement for color, clarity, and carat weight. These averages are calculated by adding all grades or measurements that comprise the inventory with regard to that particular piece of merchandise, and determining the closest mean.

Secure Shopping

Gift Certificates can be redeemed online at any time, and can be used towards any purchase from our huge selection of high quality fine jewelry. The Gift Certificate will be delivered by email, or by regular mail in its own special envelope.

Gift certificates must be redeemed through the website, towards the purchase of products displayed on the web site.

Gift certificates cannot be used to purchase gift certificates, and are not transferable. Gift certificates are not redeemable for cash and cannot be returned for a cash refund. Any unused balance will be placed in the recipient's gift certificate account and is not transferable. Gift certificates cannot be combined.

If your order exceeds the amount of your gift certificate, you must pay for the balance with an acceptable form of payment. The Gift certificate cash value is 1/10 of one cent.

Exchanges, Resizes or Repairs
We can exchange your jewelry for another item, give you another ring size, repair your item, or mount your diamond in a setting. Call to speak to a diamond and jewelry consultant. Call 443-512-0918

Our Return Process Once we receive your returned item and it is accepted, your refund or new item will be processed in just a few days. Upon receiving your return, the item will be reviewed by our Quality Assurance Department. Please note that items showing signs of wear or those that have been engraved, altered, resized (by a jeweler other than, or damaged in any way cannot be accepted for return. Returns with no return authorization, and packages that are improperly packaged or uninsured will be refused receipt.

How to Prepare a Return
To return a diamond or jewelry item to, follow our three step process:

1) Creating return requests

To create a product return request:

1. Select Orders history from Your cart menu.

2. Search for the order you would like to create a return request for.

3. Click on its number or status, and the Order details page opens.

4. Scroll down to the Create return request form.

5. Set the amount of the product(s) you want to return.

6. Select the reason for returning.

7. Select the action you would like the Customer Service Department

 to do for you.

8. Leave your comments, if necessary.

9. Click on Create.

After the return request has been successfully created, the confirming notification appears at the top of the page.

The new request is added to the Returns list. To view the list of his return requests, a customer needs to click on Returns in Your cart menu. The current status of each request in the list is shown in the

Managing previously placed return requests

You can modify/delete the return requests previously placed by you via the Returns item in Your cart menu.

To modify an existing return request:

1. Click on Returns in Your cart menu. The return search form appears.

2. Use this form to find the return request you would like to modify. The search results will be displayed in the form of a list.

3. Do one of the following:

   • Select the check box next to the return request you would like to modify and click on Modify.

   • Click on the return ID link of the request you would like to modify.

4. Select the reason for returning the product.

5. Select an action from the drop-down list.

6. Add your comments if necessary.

7. Click on Modify.

Note. To print the return slip, click on Print Return slip.

To delete an existing return request:

1. Search for the necessary return request in the Returns section.

2. In the Returns list, select the check box next to the request you would like to remove.

3. Click on Delete selected.

2. Package Your Return. Place all the original packaging in the box, including the appraisal and the diamond certificate. (The diamond certificate carries a $250 replacement fee.) For security reasons, do not write anywhere on the outside of the box. Use M. J. Company as addressee.

3. Insure Your Package. On your invoice, if the price of the item you're returning is listed as:

- Less than $500: You can ship it via any carrier. Be sure to ship your item fully insured, and request a return receipt for confirmation that your shipment has reached its destination.*

- More than $500: Ship your package via US Postal Service Registered Mail?, insured for the total value of the contents, and request a return receipt for confirmation that your shipment has reached  * (FedEx? and UPS? will not insure merchandise over $500.)
